What is the deadline to enroll in health insurance coverage in the individual market?

In most states, open enrollment for 2021 health plans began November 1st and ended on December 15th.

I’m self-employed. Is it better for me to buy health insurance through a broker, or through the exchange?

You can have the best of both worlds – a broker (Benefit Advocates) can help you enroll through the exchange, giving you personalized help and recommendations, but also allowing you to get any ACA subsidies for which you’re eligible.

Can small businesses use the ACA’s health insurance marketplaces (exchanges)?

The Affordable Care Act created an enrollment platform called SHOP (Small Business Health Options Program), an exchange where businesses could compare health insurance plans and enroll in coverage for their employees. Be aware that some plans may have limited networks.
